Emergency Credit Line Guarantee Scheme
1239. SHRI KARTI P CHIDAMBARAM:
Will the Minister of FINANCE be pleased to state:
(a) whether the Government maintains State-wise and sector-wise data regarding guarantees issued
under the Emergency Credit Line Guarantee Scheme 5.0;
(b) if so, the details thereof including the number of beneficiary enterprises and the amount of
guarantees issued, State and sector-wise;
(c) whether the Government has undertaken any assessment regarding the impact of the scheme on
business continuity, employment generation and loan repayment performances; and
(d) if so, the details of key findings thereof and if not, the reasons therefor?

(a) and (b) The state-wise and sector-wise details of number and amount of guarantees issued under
Emergency Credit Line Guarantee Scheme (ECLGS) 5.0, as on July 21, 2026, are given as Annexure-
I and Annexure-II respectively.
(c) and (d) The scheme has recently been launched on 08.05.2026. Hence, no impact assessment has
been conducted.
