Will the Minister of LABOUR AND EMPLOYMENT be pleased to
state:
(a)the details of total number of Employees' State Insurance (ESI)
hospitals and dispensaries in the country since 2023, year and
State/UT-wise;
(b)the details of number of sanctioned and filled-up posts of doctors,
specialists, nurses and paramedical staff in ESI hospitals in the
country during the said period along with vacancy rates, year and
State/UT-wise;
(c)the details of total number of insured persons and beneficiaries
covered under ESI in the country during the said period, year and
State/UT-wise;
(d)the details of total funds sanctioned and utilized on ESI medical
services in the country during the said period, year and State/UT-wise;
and
(e)the details of number of ESI hospitals/dispensaries where
infrastructure is available and equipments are operational but
specialist posts remain vacant for more than one year in the country,
State-UT-wise?

(a): The details of the total number of Employee's State Insurance (ESI)
hospitals and dispensaries in the country since 2023 year wise is as
under: -

and dispensaries in the country are placed at Annexure-I.
(b): The details of sanctioned, in-position and vacant posts of doctors,
specialists, nurses and paramedical staff in ESI hospitals, State/UT-wise
are placed at Annexure-II.
(c): The State/UT-wise details of total number of Insured Persons (IPs)
and beneficiaries covered under ESI in the country during the period
2022-23 to 2024-25 are placed at Annexure-III.
(d): The details of total funds sanctioned and expenditure incurred on
ESI medical services in the country during the said period, year and
State/UT-wise are placed at Annexure-IV.
(e): The State/UT-wise details of number of ESI hospitals/dispensaries
where specialist posts are vacant for more than one year in country are
at Annexure-V.
