KANIMOZHI NVN SOMU Will the Minister of Commerce and Industry be pleased to state: (a) the details of exports of eggs and processed egg products (including egg powder, liquid egg, albumen, and other value-added products) from India during the last five years, indicating quantity and value, country-wise and year-wise; (b) the number of export licences or registrations issued for egg and processed egg product exporters during the same period, year-wise; and (c) the schemes, incentives, or support measures provided to promote such exports and the utilisation thereof? (c) APEDA provides financial assistance to its registered member exporters, including those of eggs and processed egg products through its Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS) under the following components: i. Development of Export Infrastructure ii. Quality Development iii. Market Development The scheme guidelines are available at APEDA website www.apeda.gov.in under the icon "Scheme." Financial assistance amounting to Rs. 1.24 crores has been extended to three beneficiaries of the poultry sector under the scheme in the period 2021-25. Under the Market Development Component, APEDA has organized the participation of registered member exporters of scheduled products, including eggs and processed egg products in international trade fairs for food products in India and abroad. A study has been awarded to a research body “To identify Strategies for enhancing the export potential of Animal Products including Poultry and Poultry Products”. ***** 2
