(a) whether the Government had announced during the Lok Sabha Budget for
financial year 2024-25 for construction of a new expressway from Buxar to
Bhagalpur;
(b) if so, the current status of the said project and the action taken so far;
(c) whether the proposed expressway would be constructed on a new
alignment or the existing four-lane roads would be upgraded to shape the
expressway, if so, the details thereof and the reasons therefor in case the
upgradation of the existing roads mode is chosen;
(d) the reasons for promising construction of the new expressway if only the
upgradation of the existing road was to be done; and
(e) the detailed route map and technical project report related to the above
project ?
