SHRI RICHARD VANLALHMANGAIHA: Will the Minister of RAILWAYS be pleased to state: (a) whether the Government has any plan to extend the railway line beyond Sairang in Mizoram; (b) if so, the details thereof along with the proposed route and present status of the survey/planning work; (c) whether any budget allocation has been made for the railway extension beyond Sairang; (d) if so, the details of the amount allocated and financial year concerned; and (e) the estimated cost and expected time for completion of the proposed extension?
