2365. SHRI K.R.N. RAJESHKUMAR:
Will the PRIME MINISTER be pleased to state:
(a) the number of Central Government officers whose tenure has been extended beyond the prescribed age of superannuation or who were re-employed into services after retirement, year- wise during the last five years;
(b) the details of positions occupied by such officers including the tenure, period of extension of service and new positions in case of re-employment; and

(a) to (c): Matters pertaining to extension of service beyond superannuation or re- employment are considered by the concerned Ministries/ Departments in certain exceptional circumstances, in public interest, as per provisions contained in Fundamental Rules.
