Chinchwad Municipal Corporation for improving its urban
infrastructure, including waste management, public
transportation and drainage systems;
(b) the current status of the proposed Pune Ring Road project and
its importance for the Shirur constituency;
(c) the measures being taken to decongest the city and to ensure
a better quality of life for its residents; and
(d) the Government’s plan to support the development of semi-
urban and rural areas surrounding Pune to manage the
population growth and prevent urban sprawl?
