DR. KADIYAM KAVYA: Will the Minister of FINANCE be pleased to state: (a) the present status of financial inclusion in Warangal district under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY), including the number of Jan Dhan accounts opened, RuPay cards issued, Aadhaar seeding, Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) coverage and account usage during the last three years; (b) the details of digital payment promotion and financial literacy initiatives implemented in the district during the said period, including the number of beneficiaries covered and awareness programmes conducted; and (c) the steps taken by the Government during the last three years to strengthen banking infrastructure in rural and underserved areas of Warangal district, including the opening of bank branches, deployment of Banking Correspondents (BCs), expansion of digital banking services and measures to improve access to formal financial services? Availability of banking outlets is monitored by a Geographic Information System (GIS) based application, namely, Jan Dhan Darshak (JDD) App. Based on the data uploaded by Banks on the JDD App., All inhabited villages in Warangal District, Telangana are covered with banking outlets (Bank Branch/ BC/ IPPB) within a radius of 5 KMs, as on 30.06.2026.
