Will the Minister of CONSUMER AFFAIRS, FOOD AND PUBLIC
DISTRIBUTION be pleased to state:
(a): the details of the quantity of wheat that Haryana provides to the Central foodgrains
storage annually;
(b): whether it is the Union or State Government’s responsibility to provide Diammonium
Phosphate (DAP) to the farmers of the State;
(C): the annual total requirement of DAP in Haryana; and
(d): whether DAP fertilizer is being provided to the farmers in time and if so, the details of
the time and quantity of DAP fertilizer that has so far been allocated to Haryana?

(a): The quantity of Wheat procured from Haryana for Central Pool during last four years

(b): On the basis of requirement projected by Department of Agriculture and Farmers
Welfare (DA&FW), Department of Fertilizers allocates sufficient/adequate quantities of
fertilizers to States by issuing monthly supply plan and continuously monitors the
availability. However, distribution of fertilizers within the State at District level is done by
the State Government.
(c): The requirement of DAP in the State of Haryana for Kharif 2025 season only, as
assessed by DA&FW, is 2.83 Lakh Metric Tonnes (LMTs).
(d) : The availability of Diammonium Phosphate (DAP) has remained adequate in the State
ofHaryana during the ongoing Kharif-2025 season, from 01.04.2025 to 30.07.2025 as per the
information provided in the table below:
