SHRI PUSHPENDRA SAROJ: Will the Minister of SOCIAL JUSTICE AND EMPOWERMENT be pleased to state: (a) the details of funds sanctioned, released, and utilised under Pradhan Mantri Anusuchit Jaati Abhyuday Yojana (PM-AJAY), State and district-wise including Uttar Pradesh; (b) the details and the total number of hostels sanctioned, pending and completed under this scheme since 2022, district-wise; (c) the district-wise number of SC youth who have received training or entrepreneurship assistance under PM-AJAY since 2022 and the measurable outcomes in terms of employment or self-employment generated; and (d) whether the Ministry has conducted any beneficial scheme for the State, if so, the details thereof? ANSWER MINISTER OF STATE FOR SOCIAL JUSTICE AND EMPOWERMENT (SHRI RAMDAS ATHAWALE) (a): Under the Pradhan Mantri Anusuchit Jaati Abhyudaya Yojana (PM-AJAY), Central Assistance is released by this Department to the respective State Governments/Union Territory Administrations and not at the district level. State-wise details of funds released and utilized under the three components of the scheme, including Uttar Pradesh, since 2021-22 are given at Annexure. (b): Since 2022-23, a total of 6 hostels have been sanctioned under the Hostel Component of PM-AJAY. The completion timelines for these hostels are not yet due.
