SHRI RAVINDRA SHUKLA ALIAS RAVI KISHAN: Will the Minister of ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS सड़क परिवहन औि िाजमार्ग मंत्री be pleased to state: (a)the total length and scope of the Gorakhpur Link Expressway project; (b)the current progress in terms of construction and land acquisition; (c)the funds released and utilized for the project so far; and (d)the expected date of completion and measures taken to address delays? ANSWER THE MINISTER OF ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS (SHRI NITIN JAIRAM GADKARI) (a) to (d) The Government in the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways is primarily responsible for development and maintenance of National Highways (NHs). The project of Gorakhpur Link Expressway is not a NH. The State Government of Uttar Pradesh took up implementation of the State road project through Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA).
