The Ministry of Tourism, under its Common National Standards and Guidelines dated December 10, 2018, classifies Incredible India Homestay Establishments. There is no fee for registration of homestays, but classification fees apply: Silver category is INR 3,000, and Gold category is INR 5,000. The fees have not been revised as of this date.

Will the Minister of TOURISM be pleased to state:
(a) whether the Government has issued new guidelines for
homestays;
(b) If so, the details thereof;
(c) whether the registration fee for homestays has been increased
under the new guidelines; and
(d) if so, the details thereof?

THE MINISTER OF TOURISM (SHRI GAJENDRA SINGH SHEKHAWAT)
(a) to (d): The Ministry of Tourism under its Common National
Standards and Guidelines dated 10.12.2018, classifies Incredible India
Homestay Establishments.
There is no fee for registration of homestays. However, As per
the Guidelines, the prescribed fees for classification of homestays are
as follows:
