Ms. Praniti Sushilkumar Shinde: Will the Minister of DEVELOPMENT OF NORTH EASTERN REGION be pleased to state: (a) the details of the funds allocated, released and utilised under Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER) schemes for health and education infrastructure in the North Eastern States during the last three years, State-wise; (b) the details of the numbers of health facilities and educational institutions created or upgraded under these schemes; and (c) whether the Government has conducted any outcome-based assessment to evaluate improvements in access to healthcare and quality of education in the region and if so, the details thereof? ANSWER The Minister of State of the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region [Dr. Sukanta Majumdar] (a) & (b) Under its schemes, the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (MDoNER) has sanctioned 49 Education and 26 Health sector projects in the North Eastern States during the years from 2022-23 to 2025-26 (till 31.12.2025). The total sanctioned cost of these projects is Rs.3601.06crore, against which Rs.1635.39 crore has been released and Rs.995.37 crore has been utilized as on 31.12.2025.
