SUSHMITA DEV Will the Minister of COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY be pleased to state: (a) whether Government is aware of the announcement by the United States imposing or proposing a 25 percent tariff on countries continuing trade with Iran; (b) the quantity and value of tea and rice exported by India to Iran since 2020, year- wise; (c) the estimated share of such exports that may be affected due to the said US tariff measures, particularly for tea growers, rice exporters and MSMEs; and (d) whether Government has assessed the potential loss to Indian exporters arising from reduced access to the US market or increased trade barriers linked to Iran-related transactions?
