SHRIRAJEEVRAI: Will the Minister of HEALTHAND FAMILYWELFAREbe pleased tostate: (a) the number of beneficiary cards issued to eligible families in Mau district including the Ghosi constituencyinthe State underAyushmanBharat–PMJAYduring 2024–26; (b) the number of hospitals empanelled in the district and the number of hospital admissions authorised underthe scheme during the said period; (c) the total amount of claims and amount paid for treatments availed by beneficiaries from Mau district during 2024–26; (d) whether anyassessment hasidentified enrolmentor coverage gapsinthe district; and (e) whether the Government proposes to expand coverage to additional categories such as senior citizensinareaslike Ghosi, if so, the detailsthereof? ANSWER THE MINISTER OFSTATEIN THE MINISTRYOFHEALTHAND FAMILYWELFARE (SHRIPRATAPRAOJADHAV) (a): As on 28.02.2026, the district-wise details of the number of Ayushman cards created under Ayushman Bharat - PradhanMantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY)in districts under Ghosi LokSabhaconstituencyduring the financialyear2024–25 and 2025–26are asunder: District Number of eligiblefamilies (inlakh) Number of Ayushman Cards created(inlakh) Mau 1.48 7.01 Ballia 2.47 9.80 (b) and (c): Atotal of 58 hospitals are empanelled under AB-PMJAYin Mau district of Uttar Pradesh and 59,371 hospital admissions have been authorised under the scheme during the financial year 2024–25 and 2025–26. As on 28.02.2026, a total of Rs. 113.09 crore claimshave been submitted out of which Rs. 89.71 crore have been paid to empanelled hospitals in the Mau district of Uttar Pradesh during the financialyear2024–25and2025–26. (d) and (e): AB-PMJAY provides health coverage of Rs. 5 lakh per family per year for secondary and tertiary care hospitalization to 12 crore families constituting bottom 40% of India’s population. Additionally, in March 2024, approximately 37 lakh families of Accredited Social Health Activists (ASHA), Anganwadi Workers (AWW) and Anganwadi Helpers (AWH) were included under the scheme. In October 2024, the scheme was further expanded to cover 6 crore senior citizens of age 70 years and above belonging to 4.5 crore familiesirrespective of theirsocio-economic status. As on 24.03.2026, a total of 43.64 lakh beneficiary families have been included under the expanded coverage for senior citizens aged 70 years and above, and an additional 5.28 lakh beneficiary families of ASHA, AWH, and AWW have been included in Uttar Pradesh that includesthe Ghosi LokSabhaconstituency. *****
