SHRI NAVASKANI K: SHRI SELVAM G: SHRI C N ANNADURAI: Will the Minister of FINANCE be pleased to state: (a) whether the Government has implemented the Jan Samarth Portal across all districts of Tamil Nadu; (b) if so, the total number of loan applications submitted through this Portal from Tamil Nadu since its inception; (c) the number of loans sanctioned and disbursed to beneficiaries in Tamil Nadu under various credit- linked schemes; (d) the district-wise breakup of beneficiaries in Tamil Nadu and the corresponding amount disbursed under each scheme; (e) the category-wise (agriculture, education, business, etc.) details of schemes accessed by Tamil Nadu beneficiaries through the portal; and (f) whether the Government has taken any steps to improve digital awareness and accessibility of the portal among rural and underprivileged populations in the State and if so, the details thereof? ANSWER THE MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF FINANCE (SHRI PANKAJ CHAUDHARY) (a) and (b): The Jan Samarth Portal is accessible from all across the country, including all the districts of Tamil Nadu. As on 07.08.2025, a total of 1,03,851 loan applications amounting to Rs. 4,186.46 crores have been submitted through the Jan Samarth portal from Tamil Nadu. (c): Scheme-wise number of loans sanctioned and disbursed to beneficiaries through Jan Samarth portal as on 07.08.2025 is given at Annex-I. (d): District-wise breakup of beneficiaries along with corresponding amount disbursed under each scheme as on 07.08.2025 is given at Annex-II. (e): Category-wise (agriculture, education, business, etc.) details of schemes accessed by beneficiaries from Tamil Nadu as on 07.08.2025 is given at Annex-III.(f): The Following steps have been taken to improve digital awareness and accessibility of the portal: • The portal is made available in 8 languages including Tamil, for ease of access to rural and underprivileged population in the State. • Assisted mode of loan application journeys are facilitated through the portal by leveraging the services of Business correspondents of Banks. • The portal can be accessed from any internet-enabled mobile device and a dedicated mobile application is made available for submission of loan application. • The portal is integrated with Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), National E-Governance Services Ltd (NeSL), Goods and Service Tax (GST), Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT), Local Government Directory (LGD), AgriStack etc. for seamlessly authenticating data from Central data sources. • Grievances of customers are resolved transparently, and the customers are informed about the channels available for resolving grievances in a timely manner.
