Will the Minister of FISHERIES, ANIMAL HUSBANDRY AND DAIRYING be
pleased to state:
(a) whether the Government has released funds under Pradhan Mantri Matsya
Sampada Yojana (PMMSY) for the implementation of the scheme in Kasganj,
Kannauj, Etawah and Auraiya district in Uttar Pradesh;
(b) if so, the number of beneficiaries benefitted in these districts from 2020-2025;
(c) the details of sanctioned projects in these districts under the scheme and the
funds allocated and spent in this regard; and
(d) the present status of the works undertaken under the scheme in these districts
along with the details of facilities provided to small fishermen?

(a) to (d): Based on the project proposals from Government of Uttar Pradesh
under PMMSY during last five years (2021-21 to 2024-25), the Department of
Fisheries, Government of India has accorded approval to the various fisheries
developmental proposals of Government of Uttar Pradesh at a total outlay of Rs.
1294.32 crore with central liability of Rs. 412.31 crore and an amount of Rs.309.11
crore has been released for development of Fisheries in the State.
As reported by the Government of Uttar Pradesh, the PMMSY scheme is
implemented in all distiricts of the State including Kasganj, Kannauj, Etawah and
Auraiya district during the last five years and current years (i.e. 2020-21 to 2025-26)
and the number of beneficiaries who got benefitted in these districts are 189, 83, 90
and 81, respectively. The details of the projects sanctioned and finacial progress
achieved under PMMSY in these districts are furnished at Annexure.
