Implementation of Section 94(2) of the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, 2014
1331. DR. MALLU RAVI:
Will the Minister of FINANCE be pleased to state:
(a) whether the Government has fully implemented the financial commitments under
Section 94(2) of the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, 2014 for the development of
backward areas in the successor State of Telangana;
(b) if so, the details of Special Assistance sanctioned and released under the said provision
since 2014-15, year-wise;
(c) whether any eligible Special Assistance is pending for release and if so, the reasons
therefor; and
(d) whether the Government proposes to implement a transparent mechanism for timely
release and monitoring of statutory financial assistance provided under Acts of Parliament
and if so, the details thereof?

(a): Yes sir.
(b): It was decided to release a total amount of Rs 2700 crores to State of Telangana in six
instalments of Rs 450 crores each, under section 94(2) of the Andhra Pradesh
Reorganization Act (APRA), 2014. The entire amount has been released to State of
Telangana as per the details given below:

(c): No sir.
