Will the Minister of PETROLEUM AND NATURAL GASbe pleased to state:
(a) the details of the quantity and value of bitumen imported into the country since 2015-16,
along with the country-wise sources of such imports year-wise;
(b) the details of domestic production and total domestic consumption of bitumen during the
same period and the percentage share of imports in total domestic consumption year-wise;
and
(c) whether Government has assessed the adequacy of domestic bitumen production
capacity in meeting the demand arising from national highway and infrastructure
development programmes and if so, the details thereof?
