SHRI YADUVEER WADIYAR Will the Minister of COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (वाणिज्य एवं उद्योग मंत्री) be pleased to state: (a) whether the Government has assessed the structural causes of income stress among coffee growers in Karnataka, particularly in Kodagu, including price volatility, rising input costs and climate shocks, if so, the details thereof; (b) the details of Coffee Board interventions implemented in Kodagu during the last three years for price support, replantation, climate-resilient varieties, export facilitation and income diversification; and (c) whether the Government proposes a region-specific stabilisation or income- protection framework for small and marginal coffee growers in ecologically fragile regions, if so, the details thereof? During the period April to December 2025-26, the all India average farmgate prices of Arabica un- cured dry processed cherry coffee increased by 58.6% and the all India average farmgate prices of Robusta un-cured dry processed cherry coffee increased by 15.2% compared to prices in the same period of 2024-25.
