INDUSTRIAL CORRIDORS AND INDUSTRIAL PARKS IN TELANGANA 3795. SHRI RAMASAHAYAM RAGHURAM REDDY: Will the Minister of COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY be pleased to state: वाणिज्य एवं उद्योग मंत्री (a) the status of industrial corridors and industrial parks being developed by the Government in Telangana and the details of Central assistance provided to the State; (b) whether industrial corridors investment attracts employment; (c) whether any new industrial clusters have been proposed by the Government for the State; and (d) whether any incentives are available to industries in Telangana, if so, the details thereof? ANSWER वाणिज्य एवं उद्योग मंत्रालय में राज्य मंत्री (श्री णिणिन प्रसाद) THE MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF COMMERCE & INDUSTRY (SHRI JITIN PRASADA) (a) & (b): Under the National Industrial Corridor Development Programme (NICDP), Government of India (GoI) has approved development of Zaheerabad Industrial Area (ZIA) in Telangana under the Hyderabad–Nagpur Industrial Corridor (HNIC) in August 2024 for a total project cost of ₹2,361 crore. The project admeasuring 3,245 acres is located in Sangareddy district. The Programme Manager for New Cities (PMNC) was appointed in July, 2025 and Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) Contractor was appointed in January, 2026. The State Government has transferred 2,917 acres of land to the Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) and matching equity amounting to ₹536.22 crore has been released by Government of India through the National Industrial Corridor Development and Implementation Trust (NICDIT). The project is expected to attract investment of approximately ₹10,000 crore and generate employment potential of approx.1,74,000 jobs. The Government of Telangana has informed that Kakatiya Mega Textile Park (KMTP), Warangal has been approved under the Pradhan Mantri Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel (PM MITRA) Scheme of the Ministry of Textiles, with a maximum Development Capital Support (DCS) of Rs. 200 Crore.Further, Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI) has approved the development of a Mega Food Park under their Mega Food Parks Scheme. The project includes a Central Processing Centre (CPC) spread over 60 acres at Buggapadu Village, Sattupally, Khammam District, along with Primary Processing Centres (PPCs) total approval cost of Rs. 109.59 crores. (c): In addition to the Zaheerabad Industrial Area under National Industrial Corridor Development Programme (NICDP), Government of India has launched Bharat Audyogik Vikas Yojana (BHAVYA) Scheme, for the development of 100 plug- and-play industrial parks across the country. All State and UT governments can submit proposals under the Scheme in accordance with the Scheme Guidelines. (d): The Government of Telangana provides various incentives for industries in the state under their New MSME Policy, 2024. The details are placed at Annexure. Under NICDP, the Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) for the project extends conducive fiscal and policy measures to investors as well as relaxations to potential investors (including MSMEs), which include:  Reserving and earmarking of industrial land/plots exclusively for MSMEs.  Discount to anchor/ early-bird investors  Lease premium payment flexibility  Option for Differential Lease period. ********ANNEXURE ANNEXURE REFERRED TO IN REPLY TO PART (d) OF THE LOK SABHA UNSTARRED QUESTION NO. 3795 FOR ANSWER ON 11.08.2026.
