Hyderabad-Nagpur and Hyderabad-Warangal Industrial Corridors, if so, the
details thereof;
(b) whether the Zaheerabad NIMZ and a node near Hyderabad have been
recognized as priority projects under the National Industrial Corridor
Programme, if so, the details thereof;
(c) whether the Government will approve funding for the Hyderabad-Warangal
node once the Preliminary Design Report is submitted, if so, the details thereof;
and
(d) the timeline for funding support and implementation of these corridor projects?

(a) to (d): The Government of Telangana had submitted the proposal which was approved by
the Government of India (GoI) in August 2024 for development of Zaheerabad Node
as part of Hyderabad – Nagpur Industrial Corridor (HNIC) under National
Industrial Corridor Development Programme (NICDP).
As part of the Hyderabad–Warangal Industrial Corridor (HWIC), Hyderabad
Pharma City in the State of Telangana was initially identified for development. As
the State govt. failed to confirm the project, the Board of Trustees of NICDIT in its
meeting held on 8th June 2022 decided to drop the project.
The Zaheerabad Industrial Area (ZIA) has been identified as a priority node under
HNIC corridor.
Additionally, on the proposal of the State Government of Telangana, the
Department granted the final approval to the National Investment and
Manufacturing Zone (NIMZ) in (i) Sangareddy (formerly Medak) District of
Telangana (on 22nd January 2016) and (ii) Hyderabad Pharma City NIMZ in
Rangareddy District of Telangana (on 10th December 2019).
The project under HNIC Node located in Sangareddy district has an activation area
of 3,245 acre with a total project cost of Rs. 2,360 Crores. Share of GoI’s
