(a) to (d): Industry is a State Subject. The Union Government supplements the efforts of
the State/ UT Governments through various schemes, programmes and policy

Central Sector Scheme (NCSS), 2021; and sector specific schemes such as
the Electronics Components Manufacturing Scheme (ECMS) which are
implemented by respective Departments/ Ministries of the Government of India.
Various incentives are given to industrial units under these schemes. Units,
including those owned/operated by persons belonging to Scheduled Castes
(SCs), Scheduled Tribes (STs), or Other Backward Classes (OBCs), if any,
which fulfil the terms & conditions and guidelines prescribed for each scheme,
are eligible to apply for and avail incentives and benefits under the schemes.
The category (SC/ST/OBC) wise details of the beneficiaries are not maintained
