ANSWER MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF CORPORATE AFFAIRS AND MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS [SHRI HARSH MALHOTRA] (a): The Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (Amendment) Bill, 2025 (the Bill) was introduced in the Lok Sabha on 12.08.2025 and referred to the Select Committee of Lok Sabha for further examination. The report of the Select Committee has been received on 17.12.2025. The recommendations of the Select Committee are under consideration by the Ministry. (b): Till 31 December 2025, 1,376 corporate debtors have been resolved under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC/Code).
