Since the launch of the Kisan Rail service on August 7, 2020, 2,364 Kisan Rail services have transported approximately 7.9 lakh tonnes of perishables, generating approximately Rs 318.68 crores in revenue across the country. From Andhra Pradesh to Assam, Bihar, West Bengal, Delhi & Tripura, 116 services have been operated, transporting 34,196 tonnes of perishables like Bananas, Mangoes, and Onions.

demands placed taking into consideration, operational
feasibility.
