Shri Amra Ram: Will the Minister of COAL be pleased to state: (a) the details of the land acquired by the South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) under Coal India Limited in the Kusmunda area particularly in Jarhajel village along with the timeline of land acquisition; (b) the details of land acquired under Award No. 02/A67/82-83 on 27 April, 1983 along with the policy under which the said land was acquired; (c) whether 25.80 acres of additional land at Jarhajel was acquired by the Sub-Divisional Officer (SDM) of Katghora, Korba District, Chhattisgarh, vide letter No./A.V.A/Bhoo- Aarjan/85/830 dated 26.07.1985 and if so, the details of land acquisition award; (d) whether any compensation was given to the effected landowners in the year 1986 and if so, the details thereof; (e) the number of people whom to be given employment in lieu of the above-mentioned land acquisition in the years 1983 and 1985 along with the details of people still deprived of employment; (f) the details of land acquisition documents of the land measuring 31 decimals in Khasra Nos. 107/21, 124/1, 125/1 in the said village; and (g) the reasons for non-rehabilitation of the displaced persons of Jarhajel village inspite of having entire land acquisition of the village? (a): The details of land acquired by National Coal Development Corporation (NCDC), later Western Coalfields Limited (WCL), and subsequently inherited by South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) in Jarhajel village of Kushmuda Area along with the details of timeline of land acquisition, are as under: S. Name of Village Area in Acre 1 Barpali 3.07 2 Barampur 30.30 3 Jarahajel 158.29 4 Khamharia 245.68 Total 437.34 2(c) and (d): The SDO, Katghora sent the Compensation Patrak of above said 25.80 acres of land to WCL vide letter No./A.V.A/Bhoo-Aarjan/85/830 dated 26.07.1985. Land compensation of above said land was paid to SDO, Katghora in 1985 for distribution to the landowners. (e): SECL had provided employment to 209 villagers. Subsequently, due to persistent requests from villagers, a one-time window was opened in year 2022. After scrutiny, 03 more persons were found eligible for employment against this land.
