LAND ALLOTMENT UNDER AMRITSAR-KOLKATA INDUSTRIAL CORRIDOR 5237. SHRI DULU MAHATO: Will the Minister of COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY be pleased to state: वाणिज्य एवं उद्योग मंत्री (a) whether any formal representation has been received for land allotment in Bokaro district under the Amritsar–Kolkata Industrial Corridor (AKIC), if so, the details thereof; (b) whether the Government has been apprised of approximately 700 acres of unutilized land at Bhatua village, currently under Bokaro Steel Plant (SAIL) ownership, as a potential site for this project, if so, the details thereof; (c) whether any inter-ministerial coordination has been initiated with the Ministry of Steel for the strategic transfer of this land to the National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (NICDC), if so, the details thereof; (d) the current status of the feasibility study or master plan intended to integrate Bokaro’s steel and coal industrial clusters into the AKIC framework; and (e) the specific timeline fixed for the commencement of site-level work in the Bokaro section to unlock local employment and industrial growth? ANSWER वाणिज्य एवं उद्योग मंत्रालय में राज्य मंत्री (श्री णिणिन प्रसाद) THE MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF COMMERCE & INDUSTRY (SHRI JITIN PRASADA) (a) to (c): As per the approved institutional & financial structure of National Industrial Corridor Development Programme (NICDP), State Government provides land and equity for development of internal trunk infrastructure components is provided by the Government of India through National Industrial Corridor Development and Implementation Trust (NICDIT). Availability of a suitable land parcel in Bokaro district has not yet been confirmed by the Government of Jharkhand for development, as part of Amritsar Kolkata Industrial Corridor (AKIC). (d) & (e): The feasibility study and master planning works are undertaken once encumbrance-free land is confirmed by the State Government. ********
