GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF HOUSING AND URBAN AFFAIRS LOK SABHA UNSTARRED QUESTION NO. 1931 TO BE ANSWERED ON JULY 30, 2026 LIVEABILITY INDEX SYSTEM NO. 1931 SHRI BASTIPATI NAGARAJU: Will the Minister of HOUSING AND URBAN AFFAIRS be pleased to state: (a) the timeline fixed for conducting the next assessment under the Liveability Index along with the number of phases proposed for its implementation; (b) the details of cities proposed to be covered under the Liveability Index assessment, State-wise; (c) the criteria adopted for assessing liveability along with the weightage assigned to each parameter; (d) the measures taken by the Government to ensure effective public participation in citizen and user perception surveys and to build the capacity of cities through workshops and training programmes, State-wise; and (e) the steps taken to ensure timely, transparent and credible completion of the Liveability Index assessment including the mechanisms in place for data validation and independent verification?
