Will the Minister of MINES be pleased to state:
(a) the various districts of Rajasthan in which mineral reserves have been found in the
exploration carried out by the Government during the last five years including the
details of minerals found;
(b) whether the Government has issued notification regarding e-auction of various
critical mineral blocks in the year 2025;
(c) if so, the State and location-wise details thereof including the details of various
minerals included under the same;
(d) whether the Government proposes to take any concrete steps to commence the
mining of minerals like tungsten, lithium, etc. at the earliest in Degana town of Nagaur
district of Rajasthan and set up a mining industry in the area; and
(e) if so, the details thereof along with the reaction of the Government in this regard?

(a): During the last five years i.e. from 2020-21 to 2024-25, the Geological Survey of
India (GSI), an attached office of the Ministry of Mines, took up 273 exploration projects
for minerals commodities such as Basemetals, Gold, Limestone, Rare Earth Elements
(REE), Nickel, Tungsten, Potash, Manganese etc. in various districts of Rajasthan.
Since MMDR Amendment Act, 2015, GSI has augmented mineral resources for
Limestone, Basemetals, Gold, REE, Glauconite, Niobium-Tantalum, Manganese,
Lithium, Tungsten, Potash, Silver etc. in different districts in Rajasthan and the details
are given at Annexure-I.
(b) & (c): Yes. The Central Government has issued notifications with regard to the e-
auction of various critical mineral blocks in the year 2025 under Tranche V and
Tranche VI. The details are given at Annexure-II.
(d) & (e): The Central Government has notified Notice Inviting Tender (NIT) under
Tranche VI for auction of "RAMB Degana Tungsten, Lithium and Associated Mineral
Block" located in Degana Tehsil as Mining Lease on 16.09.2025.
