(a) the details regarding the total number of training institutes established by NCCT, State-wise till
date;
(b) the details regarding the funds sanctioned and released for the training institutes, year-wise;
(c) whether the Government plans on establishing training institutes in States where no such
Institute exists under NCCT;
(d) if so, the details regarding the timeline for establishing the same in remaining States and if not,
the reasons therefor;
(e) whether the Government has any details regarding the total number of diploma course offered
by NCCT;
(f) if so, the details thereof sector-wise, along with the number of beneficiaries trained State-wise
for the past five years; and
(g) the details regarding the short-term training programmes conducted by the NCCT, year-wise?

(a) As on date, the National Council for Cooperative Training (NCCT) has established a
total of 20 training institutes across the country which includes Vaikunth Mehta National
Institute of Cooperative Management (VAMNICOM) at the national level, 5 Regional
Institutes of Cooperative Management (RICMs), and 14 Institutes of
Cooperative Management (ICMs) spread across the country. The State-wise details of these
training institutes is at Annexure – I(b) The details of the year-wise funds sanctioned and released to the training institutes
established by NCCT for the last 05 years are as follows:

(c) & (d) : NCCT ensures training support to all States and Union Territories through
VAMNICOM, RICMs and ICMs.In states where no training institute exists, the training
responsibilities are undertaken by the nearest RICMs/ICMs. In addition, The Ministry of the
Government has established a national-level university in the cooperative sector, namely,
“Tribhuvan” Sahkari University (TSU) and all States have been requested to affiliate one
institute in their respective jurisdiciton with the TSU.
(e) & (f) NCCT conducts Post Graduate Diploma in Cooperative Business Management
(PGDCBM), PostGraduate Diploma in Computer Applications (PGDCA), Higher Diploma in
Cooperative Management (Correspondence) (HDCM-R), Dairy Diploma, Industrial Diploma
and Diploma in Urban Cooperative Bank Management (DUCBM) through its training
institues.The details of the sector-wise beneficiaries trained for the past five years is at
Annexure-II.
(g) The details regarding the short-term training programmes conducted by NCCT and its
