In response to Unstarred Question No. 1294 answered on 08/12/2025, regarding the National Critical Information Infrastructure Protection Centre (NCIIPC) Schemes, the Minister of State in the Ministry of Finance (SHRI PANKAJ CHAUDHARY) stated the following:
The Conformity Assessment Framework (CAF) was launched in November 2024. The Quality Council of India (QCI) has provisionally approved one Inspection Body, one certification body, and one Personnel Certification Body. 19 cybersecurity professionals have been certified under the Personnel Certification Scheme. 30 CAF awareness workshops have been conducted in ten locations: Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Guwahati, Pune, and Chandigarh, with a total of 1046 participants.

Will the Minister of FINANCE be pleased to state: -
(a) the number of Certification Bodies (CBs), Inspection Bodies (IBs), Personnel
Certification Bodies (PrCBs) etc. accredited under the Conformity Assessment
Framework (CAF) developed by NCIIPC during the past five years, State/year-
wise;
(b) the number of sector-wise distribution of Critical Sector Entities (CSEs) certified
under the Cyber Security Management System (CSMS), State-wise;
(c) the number of inspections conducted during the last five years by accredited
Inspection Bodies, State/year-wise
(d) the details of the key risks or gaps identified in the cybersecurity posture of
CSEs;
(e) the number of cybersecurity professionals certified under the Personnel
Certification Scheme, State-wise; and
(f) the number of awareness programmes conducted, locations covered and total
participants trained under the CAF?
