Highways (NHs) passing through the Jamui Lok Sabha Constituency
including NH-333 and NH-333A;
(b) the progress of work on any new expressways/economic corridors
planned under the Bharatmala Pariyojana that would pass through or
benefit the Jamui region;
(c) the details of any delays in the land acquisition or forest clearance
process for these projects;
(d) whether there is a proposal for the construction of bypasses
around congested towns like Jamui and Jhajha to ease traffic; and
(e) the expected timeline for the completion of these critical road
projects ?

(a) The current status of widening and upgradation of National
Highways (NHs) passing through the Jamui Lok Sabha Constituency is
Annexed.(b) to (c) There is no new expressway/economic corridor planned
under the Bharatmala Pariyojana that would pass through the Jamui
region.
(d) Yes Sir, There are proposals for the construction of bypasses
around congested towns like Jamui and Jhajha to ease traffic.
(e) The proposals for Jamui and Jhajha bypasses are part of the
projects mentioned at sl. no. 1 and 2 of the Annexure. The schedule
completion periods for these projects is 2 years from the Appointed
