Hospitality Industry (NIDHI+) Plus platform from 2023 to 2026 is as
follows:
2026 (as on
Category 2023 2024 2025 Total

State Tourism Databases, the platform incorporates multiple levels of
digital verification, including email OTP authentication, SMS OTP
authentication, PAN verification and FSSAI verification (where
applicable). The State Nodal Officers, nominated from the respective
Tourism Departments of States/UTs verifies the authenticity of the
registering units, upon which the unit receives a unique NIDHI ID.
(c) & (d): The Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, under its voluntary
scheme of classification/ approval, classifies accommodation units and
tourism service providers on the basis of the quality of facilities and
services provided by them.
With a view to bring in more transparency, accountability and
improved service delivery, including in West Champaran, the Ministry of
Tourism introduced an online system of receiving, processing and
conveying/ granting approvals for classification of accommodation units
and recognition of Tourism Service Providers. Applications can be filed at
the portal of National Integrated Database of Hospitality Industry
(NIDHI+), i.e. nidhi.tourism.gov.in. This online process has also been
integrated with payment gateway.
