SHRI AJAY KUMAR MANDAL Will the PRIME MINISTER be pleased to state that:- (a) whether it is a fact that the Government has launched Nuclear Energy Mission to achieve 100 GW of nuclear power capacity by 2047 and if so, the details thereof; (b) whether any project is proposed under this Mission in Bihar also; (c) if so, the details thereof; and (d) the quantum of power likely to be provided to Bihar from the proposed nuclear power plant in the State and the time by which the said project is likely to be completed? ANSWER THE MINISTER OF STATE FOR PERSONNEL, PUBLIC GRIEVANCES & PENSIONS AND PRIME MINISTER’S OFFICE (DR. JITENDRA SINGH) (a) Yes. The Government has announced an ambitious Nuclear Energy mission with a target of reaching a nuclear power capacity of 100 GW by 2047.
