ANSWER MINISTER OF STATE FOR MINISTRY OF CONSUMER AFFAIRS, FOOD & PUBLIC DISTRIBUTION (SHRIMATI NIMUBEN JAYANTIBHAI BAMBHANIYA) (a): The One Nation One Ration Card (ONORC) is a technology-driven initiative of the Department of Food and Public Distribution that enables nationwide portability of ration cards for beneficiaries covered under the National Food Security Act (NFS A). The system allows eligible beneficiaries, particularly migrant workers and other mobile populations, to lift their entitled foodgrains from any Fair Price Shop (FPS) in the country through Aadhaar-based biometric authentication using ePoS devices. At present, ONORC has been successfully implemented across all 36 States and Union Territories, covering about 80 crore NFS A beneficiaries (100% of the NFSA population). Accordingly, the ONORC facility is now automatically available to all PMGKAY beneficiaries across the country. (b): At present, there are 1.08 crore Ration Card holders in Rajasthan. (c): As on 01.02.2016, the total covered storage capacity available with FCI (owned and hired) was 337.91 LMT. In addition, State Agencies had covered storage capacity of 306.08 LMT for storage of foodgrains. Further, FCI was utilizing 26.11 LMT of owned CAP capacity and 141.29 LMT of CAP capacity with State Agencies for storage of Central Pool foodgrains. State-wise details are at Annexure-IAs on 01.02.2026, the total covered storage capacity available with FCI (owned and hired) has increased to 470.67 LMT. Besides, State Agencies have covered storage capacity of 381.92 LMT. Further, FCI is utilizing 12.55 LMT of owned CAP capacity and 80.70 LMT of CAP capacity with State Agencies in the Regions of Haryana, Punjab and Rajasthan for storage of Central Pool foodgrains. State-wise details are at Annexure-II. (d) & (e): To ensure food security in Rajasthan, key initiatives include 100% digitization of ration cards/beneficiary databases, Aadhaar seeding of over 97.6% ration cards, and automation of about 27,194 (99.7%) Fair Price Shops (FPSs) with electronic Point of Sale (ePoS) devices enabling biometric authentication for transparent distribution. 88888Storage Capacity with FCI and State Govt.Agencies as on 31.01.2016 Annexu re-1 .MT Zonel Sl.
