Will the Minister of JAL SHAKTI be pleased to state:
(a) whether the Government maintains any data on the number of villages with SC/ST
majority population that have been declared Open Defecation Free (ODF), if so, the details
thereof and if not, the reasons therefor; and
(b) whether Manipur has less than three percent ODF Plus villages, if so, the details thereof?

(a) No. Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation does not maintain data on the number of
villages with SC/ST majority population that have been declared Open Defecation Free (ODF).
(b) No. Under Swachh Bharat Mission-Grameen [SBM(G)] Phase-II, as per data recorded by
the State on Integrated Management Information System (IMIS) of SBM(G) Phase-II, out of
identified 2,567 villages, 78 villages, i.e 3.03% villages, have been declared Open Defecation
Free (ODF) Plus as on 01.12.2025. 26 villages have been declared ODF Plus Model.
