**Summary:**
Operation Deep Manifest, launched by the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI), is ongoing as of August 11, 2025. (a) the current status of Operation Deep Manifest launched by the Directorate of Revenue
Intelligence (DRI);
(b) the names of third countries identified to be involved in illegal import of Pakistan-origin
goods;
(c) whether the Government is aware of the blatant violations of import policy conditions
imposed on direct or indirect import or transit of Pakistan-origin goods; and

(a) & (b): Operation Deep Manifest is ongoing, with a continued focus on preventing the
direct or indirect import of goods originating in or exported from Pakistan. Till July 2025, as
part of this operation total of 5 cases involving goods of Pakistani origin have been booked
by DRI, wherein goods valued at Rs. 1204 Lakhs have been seized. In all 5 cases goods
have been imported via UAE.
(c) & (d): DRI has detected 5 cases, as mentioned in reply to para (a) and (b) above. In
addition to this, 13 cases, involving Rs 12 Lakh worth goods of Pakistan Origin, have been
detected by Customs field formations of CBIC. In these cases goods have been found to be
imported in violation of the existing legal provisions including prohibitions imposed vide
DGFT Notification No. 06/2025-26 dated 02.05.2025.
