(a) The details of outstanding debt of National Highways Authority
of India (NHAI)as on 31st March 2026 are as follows:
i. Bonds – Rs. 1,96,217 Crore

(b) & (c) Debt raised/prepayment by NHAI is for overall projects

awarding projects on account of debt reduction measures. In future,
the debt reduction would make liquidity available to meet
expenditure on projects to be taken up.
