National Highway (NH) and the Delhi–Mumbai road;
(b) the completion period set for these works and the works completed and
pending as on date;
(c) the action taken against the contractors who have not completed these
works on time;
(d) the time by which the pending works would be completed; and
(e) whether the Government is aware of the inconvenience being faced by
the general public due to these pending works and toll is being collected
therefrom resulting in wastage of their money and time and if so, the details
thereof?

(a) to (e) Details of the Over Bridge works taken up on Delhi-Mumbai Highway
(NH-48) during last five years are enclosed as Annexure. The work of
construction of some of the grade separated structures including Flyovers,Overpasses and Vehicular Underpasses (VUPs) has been taken up for better
traffic management and to enhance safety on highway. The appropriate
diversions have been constructed invariably, still the road users may face
some difficulty due to diversion which is unavoidable during construction
