Will the Minister of Women and Child Development be pleased to state:
(a) the details of the objectives, scope/key functional features of the PANKHUDI window
digital platform launched to support women and child development initiatives;
(b) the details of stakeholders registered on the PANKHUDI portal, including individuals,
NRIs, NGOs, CSR contributors, corporate entities and Government agencies indicating
thematic areas in which proposals have been received including the projects supported under
each category and the participation data, if any, State/district-wise;
(c) the details of the budgetary allocations, contributions mobilised/funds utilised through the
PANKHUDI platform since its inception;(d) the details of the monitoring/accountability mechanisms put in place to ensure transparency,
coordination/outcome-based utilisation of funds, equitable regional distribution of resources
and evaluation/real time tracking of programs, projects and outcomes;
(e) the details of the steps being taken to encourage wider participation by States/UTs, private
sector/civil society to maximise the portal's impact on service delivery outcomes;
(f) the manner in which it facilitates CSR and partnership-based interventions in the field of
women and child development, State/district-wise; and
(g) the number of proposals received on the said portal regarding CSR, State/district-wise?

(a) to (g): The recently-launched PANKHUDI portal is a single-window digital platform of
the Ministry of Women and Child Development (MWCD) designed to enable structured and
transparent participation of individuals, NGOs, Corporates and NRIs in women and child
development initiatives. The portal provides end-to-end digital workflows for registration,
proposal submission and tracking of contributions (only non-cash contributions). The
grassroots institutions functioning under various State and UT governments dealing with the
three missions of the Ministry can indicate their requirements.
PANKHUDI supports priority thematic areas such as nutrition, health, Early Childhood Care
and Education (ECCE), child protection and women’s empowerment, and aligns contributions
with flagship schemes including Mission Saksham Anganwadi & Poshan 2.0, Mission Vatsalya
and Mission Shakti, promoting convergence among government bodies and partner
organisations.
As on 03.02.2026, 38 contributors have registered on the portal.
The Ministry has undertaken capacity-building and outreach activities, including training and
handholding sessions for State and District functionaries, virtual meetings with senior State
government officials and introduction of a module on Pankhudi in all major courses conducted
by Savitri Bai Phule National Institute of Women and Child Development (SPNIWCD).
