Parliament Question: Pending compensation regarding STRR project

SHRI JAGGESH: Will the Minister of ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS be pleased to state:- (a) whether it is a fact that compensation payable to land losers under the Bengaluru Satellite Town Ring Road (STRR) project is still pending; (b) whether the prolonged delay in settlement of compensation has adversely affected the livelihood of the displaced landowners; (c) whether Government has fixed any timeline for clearing all outstanding compensation dues under the project; (d) whether any special measures are being implemented to ensure early resolution of compensation- related grievances of the affected persons; and (e) if so, the details thereof?
