SHRI SANDOSH KUMAR P: Will the Minister of STATISTICS AND PROGRAMME IMPLEMENTATION be pleased to state: (a) the number of central sector infrastructure projects that have reported cost overruns and time delays as of the quarter ending December, 2025; (b) whether Government has updated the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) National Indicator Framework for 2026; and (c) the latest Periodic Labour Force Survey (PLFS) data on urban unemployment for the January, 2026 quarter compared to the same quarter in 2025? ANSWER MINISTER OF STATE (INDEPENDENT CHARGE) OF THE MINISTRY OF STATISTICS AND PROGRAMME IMPLEMENTATION; MINISTER OF STATE (INDEPENDENT CHARGE) OF THE MINISTRY OF PLANNING AND MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF CULTURE [RAO INDERJIT SINGH] (a) The Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation (MoSPI) is mandated to monitor the status of Ongoing Central Sector Infrastructure Projects costing Rs. 150 crore and above through online portal/ web monitoring system “Project Assessment Infrastructure Monitoring and Analytics for Nation-Building (PAIMANA)” which is integrated with Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade's (DPIIT) Integrated Project Monitoring Portal (IPMP). All line Ministries/ Departments/ Implementing Agencies regularly update the information of projects on IPMP and the same is fetched from IPMP to PAIMANA via Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). Accordingly, the project-wise details of all ongoing infrastructure projects are available in the Flash Report published by this Ministry on the website https://ipm.mospi.gov.in/ReportPage. (b) The MoSPI updates and releases the Sustainable Development Goals-National Indicator Framework Progress Report annually on National Statistics Day i.e., on 29th June. (c) The National Statistics Office (NSO) disseminates labour market estimates through monthly bulletins, quarterly bulletins and the Annual Report of the Periodic Labour Force Survey (PLFS). At present, the NSO has released the latest PLFS quarterly bulletin for the period October–December 2025. Table 1 presents the estimates of the urban unemployment rate,according to Current Weekly Status (CWS), for persons aged 15 years and above during October–December 2025, compared with the corresponding period in 2024.
