PERFORMANCE OF PM GATI SHAKTI *79. SHRI DIGVIJAYA SINGH: Will the Minister of Commerce and Industry be pleased to state: (a) the data on number of Public-Private Partnership (PPP) proposals received, number of proposals approved and the value of investment mobilised, year-wise; (b) given that a recent National e-Governance Division(NeGD) Report flags absence of standardised outcome of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), whether outcome of KPIs have now been finalised, if so, the KPIs list and baselines; (c) the list of social infrastructure projects (schools, hospitals, anganwadis) planned and executed using Gati Shakti layers, Ministry-wise and State-wise; and (d) whether Government has identified specific projects that have exceeded their original timelines due to land acquisition and forest clearance hurdles, if so, the details thereof? ANSWER THE MINISTER OF COMMERCE & INDUSTRY (SHRI PIYUSH GOYAL) (a) to (d): A Statement is laid on the Table of the House. ********STATEMENT REFERRED TO IN REPLY OF PARTS (a) TO (d) OF RAJYA SABHA STARRED QUESTION NO. 79 FOR ANSWER ON 06.02.2026 REGARDING ‘PERFORMANCE OF PM GATI SHAKTI’ RAISED BY SHRI DIGVIJAYA SINGH. (a) & (b): The Public-Private Partnership (PPP) projects are being implemented by different Project Sponsoring Authorities at Central, State and Local Bodies level; data for all those PPP projects is not maintained centrally. (c) & (d): Central Ministries and State/UTs are using PM GatiShakti National Master Plan (PMGS NMP) - a geospatial digital platform - for planning and execution of their respective infrastructure projects, including the social infrastructure projects such as schools, hospital, anganwadis etc. However, no centralised record of such planning and execution is being maintained. Under the PMGS NMP, the initiative of District Master Plan (DMP) focuses on planning for the social infrastructure such as Hospital, Schools, Aanganwadi etc. The DMP initiative have been made accessible to all the 112 Aspirational Districts. An institutional mechanism, i.e. Project Monitoring Group (PMG), has been set up for fast tracking the execution of large-scale infrastructure projects. PMG facilitates the monitoring of projects and assists in the resolution of regulatory issues, including land acquisition and forest clearance-related matters, through inter-ministerial and inter-state coordination mechanisms. However, PMG does not maintain data specifically attributing project delays due to these factors. *******
