Will the Minister of HEAVY INDUSTRIES be pleased to state:
(a) the list of applications selected under the PLI Scheme for Automobile and Auto Component
Industry along with company-wise details of approved manufacturing units, locations and categories
of Advanced Automotive Technology (AAT) products;
(b) the number of manufacturing facilities established by approved applicants under the scheme,
State-wise;
(c) the funds allocated, sanctioned and disbursed so far including incentive amounts released to each
applicant;
(d) the production targets set under the scheme and the extent of achievement so far, including details
of EVs, hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, batteries, power electronics and other AAT components; and
(e) the estimated impact of the scheme on EV adoption, localisation of auto components, exports
and employment?

(a) & (b): Under the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme for Automobile and Auto
Components Industry (PLI Auto scheme), there are 82 approved applicants (as on 30.11.2025). The
list of applicants is at Annexure-I. The approved applicants have multiple units manufacturing
various Advanced Automotive Technology (AAT) products. State-wise list of manufacturing units
is at Annexure-II.
(c) & (d): The PLI Auto Scheme has a budgetary outlay of ₹25,938 crore. As on 30.11.2025,
the incentive of Rs. 1,350.83 cr. has been disbursed to five applicants. The Eligible Sales target till
March, 2028 (over Base Year FY 2019-20) is Rs.2,31,500 crore and, sales of Rs.32,879 crore has
been achieved till 30.09.2025.
(e): PLI Auto Scheme proposes financial incentives to boost domestic manufacturing of AAT
products and attract investments in the automotive manufacturing value chain. EV adoption has
been increased and due to Domestic Value Addition (DVA) requirement, localization of EV value
chain is expanding across the AAT products.
