SHRI GANESH SINGH: Will the Minister of STEEL be pleased to state: (a) the number of units benefited so far under the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme for specialty steel; (b) the number of units proposed or operational under this scheme in Madhya Pradesh, especially in Satna district; and (c) whether the Government proposes to make any special provision to ensure skill training and employment for the local youth under this scheme? ANSWER THE MINISTER OF STEEL (SHRI H.D. KUMARASWAMY) a) In Production-Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme for Specialty Steel, two rounds of applications have been concluded so far. 44 projects from 19 companies and 42 projects from 25 companies are participating in the first and second rounds, respectively.
