Will the Minister of ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS be pleased to state:
(a) the current status of implementation of the PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan in the State of Telangana; and
(b) the key infrastructure projects undertaken under the PM Gati Shakti plan in the State of Telangana and their expected timelines for completion? ANSWER THE MINISTER OF ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS (SHRI NITIN JAIRAM GADKARI)
(a) and (b) The PM GatiShakti National Master Plan has been launched in the country as common planning platform for all infrastructure projects including National Highways (NHs) projects with a whole of government approach. The Government in Ministry of Road Transport and Highways is primarily responsible for development and maintenance of National Highways (NHs). All the National Highways (NHs) development projects in the country including the projects in the State of Telangana are planned in line with Pradhan Mantri (PM) Gati Shakti - National Master Plan (NMP) Principles.
Major infrastructure projects/ stretches covered under the PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan in the State of Telangana include development of Jagtial-Karimnagar section (59 Km), Armoor-Jagtiyal-Mancherial section (132 Km), Access controlled Greenfield Regional Expressway on Northern side of Hyderabad (162 Km), Hyderabad-Panji Corridor from Gudebellur to Junction with NH167N near Mehaboobnagar (80 Km), Kadur-Hassanpur/ Pothulamadugu section (11 Km) etc. Implementation of these projects are subject to appraisal and approval of Government.
