SHRI ROBERT BRUCE C: Will the Minister of COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY be pleased to state: वाणिज्य एवं उद्योग मंत्री (a) the details and the steps taken under the PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan since its inception, year-wise; (b) the details of the funds released for the plan, year-wise; (c) whether any new Ministries, in addition to the initial 21, have been included in the scheme; and (d) if so, the details thereof? ANSWER वाणिज्य एवं उद्योग मंत्रालय में राज्य मंत्री (श्री णिणिन प्रसाद) THE MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF COMMERCE & INDUSTRY (SHRI JITIN PRASADA) (a): PM GatiShakti National Master Plan (PMGS NMP) was launched in October 2021. Since the launch, substantial progress has been made, which includes development of the geospatial platform, integration of multiple georeferenced data, provision of planning tools/software for planning infrastructure projects (including socio-economic infrastructure), and capacity building. Mechanism of Network Planning Group(NPG) has been institutionalised, under which infrastructure projects are evaluated for integrated planning, multimodality, inter-modality, synchronization of efforts, whole of Government approach and Last-mile connectivity in and around the project catchment area. So far, 293 infrastructure projects amounting to Rs. 13.59 Lakh Crore have been evaluated through the NPG mechanism. Under PM GatiShakti initiative, as on date, 57 Central Ministries/Departments including 8 Infrastructure, 22 Social and 27 Economic & other Ministries/Departments have been onboarded on PMGS NMP. 36 States/UTs have also been onboarded on PMGS NMP. About 1700 data layers, including 969 layers from States/UTs and 731 layers from Central Ministries/Departments, have been mapped and integrated on the PMGS NMP. Year wise progress made under PMGS is given in Annexure-A. (b): The PM GatiShakti National Master Plan has no specific or separate fund allocation. However, Ministry of Finance, Department of Expenditure through Part- II of the "Scheme for Special Assistance to States for Capital Investmentfor 2022- 23" made a provision of ₹ 5000 crores for disbursement among the States for PMGS related infrastructure development. (c) & (d): 36 new Ministries/Departments, in addition to initial 21, have been included in the PMGS-National Master Plan. As on date, total 57 Central Ministries/Departments have been onboarded on PMGS NMP. The details are given in Annexure-B. **********ANNEXURE-A ANNEXURE REFERRED TO IN REPLY TO PART (a) OF THE LOK SABHA UNSTARRED QUESTION 2658 FOR ANSWER ON 01.08.2025. Year 2021 - 2022  PMGS NMP was launched.  Institutional mechanism of NPG was set up.  Initiation of onboarding of Infrastructure Ministries.  Mapping of assets of infrastructure Ministries and planning of infrastructure projects on the PMGS NMP platform.  Training and Capacity Building exercise for PM GatiShakti started. Five workshops/training sessions conducted for training and capacity building of officers, wherein about 500 officers participated. Year 2022 - 2023  8 Key infrastructure Ministries onboarded.  Mapping of assets of infrastructure Ministries and planning of infrastructure projects on the National Master Plan portal.  71 infrastructure projects of Central Ministries evaluated in NPG.  A digital learning course on PM GatiShakti launched on iGoTKarmayogi platform.  About 50 workshops/training session, including 05 regional/state level workshops, conducted for training and capacity building of officers wherein more than 5000 officers participated. Year 2023 - 2024  22 Social Sector Ministries/Departments onboarded.  Mapping of assets of Social Sector Ministries on the PMGS NMP portal.  73 infrastructure projects of Central Ministries evaluated in NPG.  Social sector project planning by Ministries on the PMGS NMP portal.  An MoU was signed with Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya, which was set up in December 2022.  A digital learning course on National Logistics Policy launched on iGoTKarmayogi platform.  About 100 workshops/training sessions, including 10 regional/state level workshops, conducted for training and capacity building of officers wherein more than 10000 officers participated. Year 2024 - 2025  20 Economic sector Ministries onboarded.  05 other Ministries/Departments onboarded.  Mapping of assets of Economic Ministries on the PMGS NMP.  121 infrastructure projects of Central Ministries evaluated through the NPG mechanism.  District Master Plan (DMP) launched for 28 aspirational districts to enable geospatial data driven planning by adopting the Area Development Approach at district level.  Digital learning courses on PM GatiShakti- Roles and Responsibilities and PM GatiShakti for effective infrastructure planning and development, launched on iGoTKarmayogi platform.  More than 100 workshops/training sessions, including 10 regional/state level workshops, conducted for training and capacity building of officers wherein more than 10000 officers participated.Year 2025 - 2026  02 other Ministries/Departments onboarded.  Standard Operating Process (SOP) for 50 no. of Ministries/Departments finalized/revised.  A group of JS level officers including existing NPG members, BISAG-N, MeitY and MoHUA has been set up for technical upgradation and technical issue resolution of PMGS NMP.  A single Sign-On User Management System using NIC JanParichay has been implemented through which access of PMGS NMP was provided to States/UTs.  28 infrastructure projects of Central Ministries evaluated through the NPG mechanism.  About 25 workshops/training sessions (Ministry wise) conducted for training and capacity building of officers wherein 100 officers participated.
