Shri Jaswantsinh Sumanbhai Bhabhor: Will the Minister of CORPORATE AFFAIRS be pleased to state: a) whether the Government has launched any special quota or awareness campaign to provide opportunities to tribal youth of Dahod district in Gujarat in the country’s top 500 companies under the PM Internship Scheme; b) if so, the details thereof, and c) the details of funds spent on tribal welfare in Dahod district through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds during the last two years? ANSWER MINISTER OF STATE OF THE MINISTRY OF CORPORATE AFFAIRS AND MINISTRY OF ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS [SHRI HARSH MALHOTRA] (a)& (b): The Ministry of Corporate Affairs is actively working with various stakeholders such as state governments, central government ministries & departments, industries and industry associations for promotion and implementation of the scheme. MCA has actively collaborated with State Government to carry out extensive Information, Education and Communication activities, including workshops, seminars, and promotional campaigns - both online and on-ground to amplify program visibility and to reach out to the target groups in various districts of the State. With active support from State Nodal Departments,awareness campaigns were carried out at ITIs, Polytechnics, and graduate colleges in different districts of the country. These campaigns are being carried out for whole of the country including Dahod, Gujarat. Further, the PMIS Portal is accessible in 12 different languages to enhance inclusivity from different geographical regions of the country. (c): Data is not maintained centrally for CSR expenditure on specific area or activity. Data regarding CSR expenditure district-wise, company-wise, PSU/Non- PSU wise, development sector-wise, etc. are available on public domain at www.csr.gov.in All data related to CSR filed by companies in MCA21 registry is available in public domain and can be accessed at www.csr.gov.in.
