Will the Minister of MICRO, SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES be pleased to state:
(a) the physical and financial achievements under the PM Vishwakarma Scheme during the
fiscal year 2025-2026 in Bihar and Madhya Pradesh;
(b) the total number of traditional artisans and crafts people who successfully completed the
basic skill training and received the PM Vishwakarma certificate during the last one year in Bihar
and Madhya Pradesh;
(c) the total quantum of collateral-free enterprise development loans and toolkit e-vouchers
disbursed directly to the beneficiaries in Bihar and Madhya Pradesh;
(d) whether the Government has received reports of technical glitches on the registration portal
causing verification delays for rural artisans in Bihar and Madhya Pradesh and if so, the details
thereof; and
(e) the administrative steps being taken by the Government in coordination with the state
authorities to expedite the three-tier verification process for applicants in Bihar and Madhya
Pradesh?
ANSWER

(a) to (c): PM Vishwakarma scheme is a Central Sector scheme for providing holistic support
to the traditional artisans and craftspeople. The details of number of traditional artisans and
craftspeople registered, PM Vishwakarma certificate issued, basic skill training imparted,
collateral-free enterprise development loans sanctioned and toolkit e-vouchers disbursed under PM
Vishwakarma in the state of Bihar and Madhya Pradesh are at Annexure-I.
(d) and (e): PM Vishwakarma portal is a comprehensive digital platform for transparent,
efficient and paperless service delivery. PM Vishwakarma portal is operating smoothly and a
technical team is in place for responding to any operational requirements.
A total of 30 lakh artisans and craftspeople have been successfully registered, after three
stage verification process, including the state of Bihar and Madhya Pradesh.
