ANSWER
MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF PERSONNEL, PUBLIC
GRIEVANCES & PENSIONS AND IN THE PRIME MINISTER’S OFFICE
(DR. JITENDRA SINGH):
****
The Government has established the Indian National Space
Promotion and Authorisation Centre (IN-SPACe) to promote,
facilitate, handhold, supervise, and authorise the space
activities of the Indian private sector, including start-ups. IN-
SPACe has introduced various schemes and policies to support
start-ups through funding, technology transfer, skill
development, mentorship, and other facilitation measures. These initiatives are aimed at strengthening the space start-up
ecosystem, promoting innovation, enhancing private sector
participation, and creating employment opportunities.
IN-SPACe, being a central Government agency, designs and
implements schemes and policies for the benefit of the entire
country rather than for any particular region or State/Union
Territory. Accordingly, all schemes and policies announced by
IN-SPACe are applicable across India, including the State of
Uttar Pradesh.
